We have a new address!
For the Fall Season of 2026, we're offering kids and adult classes at our own new location in downtown Lafayette! The new place is within walking distance from Lafayette Elementary, Lafayette BART station, and it’s just across the street from the public library.
The address is 3468 Mt Diablo Blvd, Suite B-108, Lafayette, CA 94549. See the map below.
There are three sessions to all our Fall classes:
- Fall 1: August 30 – October 3 (no classes on Monday September 7)
- Fall 2: October 4 – November 7 (no classes on Monday October 12)
- Fall 3: November 8 – December 19 (no classes on Wednesday November 11 and November 23–27)
All classes are limited to 16 students and are team-taught by Dr. Holl and Ms. Maria. The ultra-low student-teacher ratio (only 8 students per teacher) allows us to provide personal attention, guidance and support to everyone!

Math Playtime!
(Wednesdays 2:30–4pm, grades 3–6)
More math after school? Sure!
This class is inspired by renowned Math Circles, and it’s all about sharing the beauty and love of math with our students! Continuing our successful formula of hands-on discovery, we make beautiful patterns, play games, solve tricky logic puzzles, and tell stories to show kids that math is a powerful, practical tool for understanding the world. Expect lots of play and imagination, group discussions, some creative mess, and zero worksheets or homework!
You've worked hard, now let's play!
Tuition is $280 for 5 lessons with all materials and supplies included.

Physics Playground Makerspace
(Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thurssdays 3:30–4:45 pm and 5:00-6:15 pm, grades 1–5)
This is a hands-on, free-building class where you learn how things work by making them! Our instructors introduce physics concepts in an age-appropriate manner and teach kids to use a variety of materials and tools for building and testing structures, vehicles, and devices. Students experiment and learn about things like balance, motion, structural strength, mechanical advantage, and the properties of sound, light, electricity and magnetism—we offer some Serious Fun!
As before, we will revisit core topics from the previous seasons, to get new learners familiar with the concepts and to make sure that the understanding is solid with our returning students. But be assured, we always add some new material, activities, and exciting challenges to keep the learning fresh and interesting!
Tuition is $250 for a session of 5 weekly lessons with all materials and supplies included. Monday sessions of September and October are shorter due to holidays, so the tuition is prorated.

Math Tutor Training — New Course for Adults!
(Fridays 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, ages ~18+)
Modern Math for Grown-Ups
Baffled by elementary homework? Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or a helping adult, this weekly class turns you into a confident math mentor. We’ll refresh your foundational skills, bring you up to speed on Common Core standards, and decode modern classroom techniques. You’ll also gain child psychology insights and practical tips to avoid homework power struggles, boost kids' confidence, and overcome math anxiety. No advanced math skills required – only your desire to help kids succeed!
Tuition $250/session of 5 lessons, all materials and supplies included.
