Frequently Asked Questions

Jump to a question:

Are G.A.M.E. classes a good fit for my child?

We welcome all children to join the fun, but the classes will be best fit for those who:

  • Enjoy learning, exploring, and figuring out how things work,
  • Can use a little more challenge than what school currently gives them

What is required from the students?

  • Respect the learning environment including the provided tools and supplies.
  • Everyone should be kind and respectful to others.
  • No using electronic devices in class.

What are your group sizes?

For after-school programs and summer camps, the groups are 16 children maximum with two instructors. With our low student-to-instructor ratio, every child who desires to learn will get a chance to do so!

My child is younger or older than your group age, can they still join?

Yes! We welcome all kids who want to learn.

Do you have scholarship?

Please reach out to us! There is no official program for scholarship yet (we are working on it!), but we want to include every child interested in learning and will try to find a way.

What's your cancellation policy?

  • Cancellations more than 1 month ahead - 100% refund (minus 5% processing fee) or 100% credit (applicable toward future classes and camps).
  • 2 weeks to 1 month ahead - 75% refund or 100% credit.
  • Less than 2 weeks ahead - 50% refund or 100% credit.

Missed days refunds?

Thank you for not bringing your sick child to the class! Sorry, we can not issue refunds for missed days. One make-up class per session if there is a spot available in other classes.

Do you have early drop off and late pick up options?

  • Early drop offs and late pick ups are available for summer camps only; see the Summer Break page for the rates. Please let us know you need the option before the camp starts.
  • Sorry, we can't offer early drop offs and late pick ups for the after school classes.

May I read your waiver before registration?

Yes! Our waiver is available here: Registration Form

How do I pay for registration?

game@propermath.com

Currently we accept payment via ZelleĀ®, check, and credit cards: Discover, Mastercard, and Visa:

  1. If you haven't done so yet, please create an account through the "parent portal".
  2. Then, add your classes to your cart and complete the checkout process.
  3. Note that to allow for payment by check or Zelle, the checkout process will not require immediate payment. Instead, the Billing & Payments screen will show a balance still owed.
  4. Outstanding balances may be verified and paid via credit card on the Billing & Payments screen.

Important notes:

  • Paying by credit card will incur surcharges starting Aug 29, 2026 based on a rate of 2.89% plus a $0.30 per transaction fee.
  • To pay by Zelle (and avoid surcharges), send Zelle payments to game@propermath.com with your student's name in the notes field, if your bank provides a notes field. After sending your Zelle payment, send us an email. We'll match up the payment, credit your account, and issue your receipt through email.
  • To pay by check (and also avoid surcharges), please make the check payable to Get Ahead Math & Engineering LLC, write your student's name in the Memo field, and then email us for the address to mail the check. When we receive your payment, we'll credit your account, and issue your receipt through email.
  • Class registration is not finalized until that class's tuition is received. Tuition must be paid in full at least one week prior to the start of the class. If payment is not completed by this deadline, we reserve the right to move your registration to the waiting list and reassign the spot to another student.
